Granny_Weatherwax
the Explore Test. DS was scheduled to take it at our local high school on the 23rd and the school district superintendent decided DS could not sit for the test because he is no longer an enrolled student. Our district does not give the test to 7th or 8th graders so this was our only chance to take the exam locally. Does anyone know of a junior high in central IL that will be offering the exam in the near future? I will even go into northern IL and/or Iowa. Please respond. yslek
I did a google search and found this: http://www.act.org/advantage/explore/. I don't know if it's what you need, though.
Granny_Weatherwax
I have already contacted ACT and they do not administer the test. The test can only be administered by a registered school district. This leaves out homeschoolers. Ugh.
wimseycat
As a homeschooler you can go through the Midwest Academic Talent Search. You just sign them up on your own. There is a code for homeschoolers. My DS has taken the Explore, ACT and SAT through them. http://www.ctd.northwestern.edu/numats/ I don't know if there are anymore testing dates until the fall.
