Dianne-TX
...with a high waist and curves, where do you buy your capris/cropped pants and shorts? I would prefer them to be cropped, not up to my knee, YKWIM? I've tried on one too many capris that turn out to be long shorts on me, but perfect for someone not tall! :) I also seem to buy shorts that "ride up" on me and not fit me nicely. Suggestions of places to shop on land or online? Thanks!
MSNative
Eddie Bauer - Love their capris and they are actually capris, not long shorts. (5'11 so I def. know what you mean.) They also have different fits, so you can pick the one that works best for your figure. :)
Guest Katia
I'm 5'9'', and I find that the label "cropped" works well for capris. I think on shorter people "cropped" means just-above-the-ankle wear? And if they are labeled "capri" I wear them for shorts. And I shop Wal-Mart as that's all I can afford....unless I find something at the Goodwill Store, then I like Eddie Bauer and Gloria Vanderbilt. happygrrl
I buy things at the gap, though sometimes they only offer short-short styles. My capris, city-lenght shorts and pants from them are great. (They have 'long' styles on each size) Edited April 14, 2009 by happygrrl
eksargent
New York and Company (used to be Lerner). They offer talls...that is the ONLY place I buy jeans, shorts, and pants. I have been shopping there 10 years and I LOVE their tall fit!
FriedClams
I'm 5'12" and I like the Lee brand from Walmart. My only issue is that a touch-of-lycra means skin tight in the morning and seriously-falling-off-my-but at night. What can you do? They are very comfortable, and since I got them on sale for $9, they are perfect. :)
