What size magnet board for All About Spelling?

We'll have a 1st grader using it this year, but next year I'd anticipate two students. Not sure if that will evolve into two magnet boards or one bigger one.

 

What size should I look for? What works well?

We have the 2' x 3' size that AAS recommends and it works great. I bought it at walmart for $15.

Unless you are teaching both at the same time (as a class), one board would work fine. I use one 2' X 3' one with both of my kids.

I was going to buy a magnetized board, but I didn't get around to it before school started. After doing it without a board, I realized that it was better not to have one (at least for the first year or so), because it is really helping my kids get good at alphabetizing.

My magnet board was too small, so I use the side of the refrigerator. I put them up pretty high so my youngest doesn't play with them - ds stands on a chair to use them. He thinks it's great fun.

I'm using it with 2 kids and our 2x3 board works perfectly.

We have a really big one - I think it's bigger than 2' x3' or maybe it's just that size. I haven't measured it. Dh got it from work for free when they were gutting one of their buildings. I use it with both girls, since they're working at the same level, and it works fine for us.
