eaglei
Dh is looking for arrow heads for his bow. *I* am looking at price! Does anyone know a good source with reasonable prices? THANKS!
Aggie
My dh orders most of his archery equipment from 3Rivers Archery. I don't know about cost, though. He doesn't question me about the cost of books and I don't question him about the cost of hunting equipment.

We've both been concerned about prices these days! :) (But I think I'm worrying more because we just added a MAJOR vehicle repair expense as well . . . :glare:)
Unicorn.
Do you have an Academy nearby? If not, maybe you could try Bass Pro Shops. hth
Melissa in Australia
my son makes his own. he uses stones that he 'flints'/ ( not sure if that is the right word). he then ties them on with string, and epoxies over the string. they look very stone ageish. they work really well. he just made a bone one. it looks exactly like the bone arrow head in his history book. he made it out of a bone left over from a roast we had for tea. He has more fun making the arrowheads than shooting them. It can take up to a week to make one.
Melissa in Australia
my son told me that I should change my post. It only takes 2 hours to make one, and it is much more fun shooting the arrows than making them.
eaglei
Thank you everyone! I have passed all the info on to dh. Making arrow heads sounds really neat - thank you to MelissaL and her son for this idea.
