I always heard the accent on the "nas"--or at least that is what I remember the author of Classical Composition saying. ITA. :lol: Funny thing about this word: it drove me nuts until we learned the Greek alphabet. Then I saw it written in Greek one day, and pronouncing it was no longer an issue for me. We've been learning the Greek alphabet too, so I have to ask- is it pi-rho-omicron-gamma-upsilon-mu-nu-alpha-sigma-mu-alpha-tau-alpha, or something like that?
