Cornerstone Classical
When Children Love to Learn: A Practical Application of Charlotte Mason's Philosophy For Today by Elaine Cooper. I have read the other popular books but had not seen this one before. I was wondering how it compares to the other CM books. prairiegirl
I really liked this book. I found it to be quite helpful. It is not a CM homeschool book, though. It is written for teachers of CM-inspired schools. I still found it helpful, though.
Guest Alte Veste Academy
Well, I'm the one who wrote the novel length review of it on Amazon, so I have to say I heartily recommend it. :) Honestly, it was the first CM book I read that made me feel like I had license to pick materials for myself without worrying that the official CM people would come after me and strip me of my CM homeschool badge. It's my favorite CM book and I own them all. It's on my nightstand at all times. :)

It gave me a good picture of how to use current, modern resources in a CM education. Or, "New does not equal inferior." :)
