mo2
Three programs that I really like the looks of are Song School Latin, Lively Latin, and Latin Prep. Now, I don't really know how these would all flow scope-and-sequence-wise. Would it be appropriate to go from Song School Latin into Lively Latin and then into Latin Prep? I would prefer finding one program that would cover all our years of study, but I haven't yet found one that is secular. Any advice? We're still a couple of years away from starting Latin but I tend to plan in advance. :o
Laura Corin
I normally suggest that people use whatever they like for Latin (or nothing at all) until 5th grade (or maybe 4th), then start Latin Prep at the beginning. You can move through LP faster if you like, but that way you can be sure to take advantage of its logical introduction of grammar. Best wishes Laura
Heather in VA
What I recommend is if you are starting between 3rd (sometimes 2nd) and 5th grade - use Lively Latin. If you are 6th and up - Latin Prep. Heather
