SonshineLearner
Government, Economics and Physics....I'm looking at TC for the Government and Economics. Specific courses that work for these and also physics would be great. She's been in PS until a couple of months ago. She's doing Classical Conversations, right now. She'll be doing Omni I next year plus whatever else we can figure out. Carrie:)

Storm Bay
We purchased Conceptual Physics by Paul Hewitt for physics as it doesn't require as much math. My brother sent us his sample university text for free, but he also has a high school edition out. However, we're going to do Physics in dd's sophomore year. I can't speak on the other programs since we haven't looked into either of those yet.
Guest kacifl
My daughter is reading through Conceptual Physics, making a notebook and watching Paul Hewitt's demos online. She is really enjoying it. We're not doing a lab. K
outtamyshell
What about the Economics course that Classical Conversations includes as part of Challenge I? We use Classical Conversations and our tutors have done their best to accomodate class schedules so we have been able to take courses from multiple years. We've been lucky. Blessed really. I don't know if all of the projects we did were standard for the course, but there was one that I especially loved. She had to find an economic current event and write a summary of it each week. It made for some great conversations around the house. They use the Uncle Eric books. We also went through Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University.
