Mom_to3
I found this about a new proposed bill. https://www.govexec.com/workforce/2024/05/afge-wins-two-more-union-elections-federal-workers-stationed-europe/396300/ Seems very short-sighted - both parties seem to be intent on reducing remote work. I guess they are not measuring the value of time savings and pollution reduction from a reduction in commuting....
gardenmom5
And all the office tower landlords that are losing money because of the number of remote workers (and small businesses around them that depend upon office workers). . . they have deeper pockets to contribute to political candidates than joe average worker who is saving money in commute costs. For some jobs remote works - for others it doesn't.
Sneezyone
The article doesn’t say remote work was an animating issue.
