desertflower
Hi, Does anyone have any experience with physics in a co-op? I'm in charge of Physics next school year. Does anyone have any pointers, ideas, websites, you tube videos that you can recommend to make this an interesting class? I was thinking of having small projects throughout the years. For example, something that will last 4 weeks or so. We will of course have lab almost every week. Also, would this be better taught two days a week? We are currently meeting one day a week for chemistry for 1 hour and 45 mins. Thanks in advance for any input.
cintinative
Honestly trying to fit a lab into one hour or 50 minutes can be super challenging. So I like that you have more time. More time means if you finish early you can cover some teaching as well, and if you don't, you still finish the lab in one session. I've only taught physics on the lower levels but I have a friend that teaches it in 50 minute classes twice a week and it is super challenging.
