What she doesn't know is, out in my car, is the doll bed my friend made for the doll. She got the doll dressed in pajamas and lamented for a good 20 minutes about how the doll needs a real bed. I told her that doll beds were too expensive and she'll have to make due. She wasn't very impressed with that response. When she sees this bed tomorrow, she is going to go over the moon! It's an incredible feeling to give just the right gift...and have it appreciated; let along give two gifts that will mean so much. I still have my doll that my mom gave me when I was just over 10.
