momto4kings
What is a reasonable rate for occupational therapy for a child? For adult? Thanks.
swellmomma
The one we are seeing in January is $480 for the initial assessment and then $120 per hour after that. Each session will be 1 hour long. It is suspected ds will need their intensive therapy which means twice a week for 10 weeks, and then reassessment to see what steps to take next. Our health coverage will cover the assement, but I am paying the rest out of pocket, so over all almost $3000. I am not looking forward to the fees, but I am excited at the possibilities for my son. hsmamainva
When we were paying for our OT, it was $75 per session (50 minutes). My dd now receives OT with the public school system, even though she's homeschooled, so it doesn't cost us anything.
