Mommy22alyns
Would this work? Or would combining those levels be difficult and weird? We're on track to finish FLL 1/2 this school year, but I have not started Becca on a writing program because she's still young and honestly, narrations are sort of painful for me. :001_huh: But I think she's getting the hang of it and I'd like to start a writing program for her next year. Next school year, she'll be "officially" a first grader, but easily doing second grade work overall and higher in language arts.
Lovedtodeath
I think it would work, but if she has done FLL 1/2 she may be able to start with WWE 2. Do you already own WWE1? The WWE1 narrations are easier than the FLL1 narrations, IMO.
Emmy
I started FLL 3 with my oldest this fall and since WWE was brand new, we started with WWE 1. We did 2 days of WWE each day and skipped chapters as well so we basically hopped/skipped/jumped through WWE 1 as a training ground. We started WWE 2 in November and plan to finish it by the end of the year. It will be fine to start with WWE 1 - but I'd consolidate it and skip through to WWE 2 by at least midway through your year. Lovedtodeath
You should by the TM first and determine what you want to do from there. It would be a shame to buy the workbook only to skip most of it. The TM has 1/4 of the exact same lessons as the workbooks, and includes 4 years worth. cillakat
Would this work? Or would combining those levels be difficult and weird? Fwiw, we do FFL 3 and WWE 2 and it's fine. I think it would be fine to do WWE 1. :) k
Cornerstone Classical
My DS has completed FLL 1/2 and is moving into FLL 3 after Christmas break. I gave him the evaluations in the the Complete Writer teacher text and he placed in WWE2. We started it 3 weeks ago.
