Does anyone have a suggestion for evaluating progress in LOF Calculus? My son is doing well on the problems (self-study), missing very few. But I need to evaluate his current progress compared with traditional Calculus study. Any advice is welcome.

We have used/are using LOF for high school math, but DS switched to comm. college for calculus (and did well with his LOF background). That said, for other hs math classes, I have assigned problem sets from other curricula to compare a student's progress. Khan Academy would be another (free, easily accessible) option. Just make sure that you are testing what you intend to test, ie, that the topics line up and the student isn't being asked to solve something they haven't yet encountered in LOF.
