Feels like the first of the year took forever and the last part of it is flying by. Today's goals: House: chores, sweep and mop the kitchen (had a mess this morning with the sugar because it was dark and I was sleepy), groceries School: schedules Cooking: roast, potatoes, gravy, lemon pound cake Writing: 3000 words, keep up with Beta reading, personal reading Art: continue painting projects, sketching Forgot exercise: I'm up to 3 miles a day to walk this week. Done: fine arts, some language, psychology (see "drama" coming up). In the works: rebalancing after some drama. We minimize drama here, but some got imported and it was destabilizing; good that's done with. Next up: I'm picking lunch up while boys read. Read-aloud at lunch. Finish languages after lunch (younger) and hit math (both). Piano practice for younger & I. Fitness all around. Dinner: heat frozen lasagna. other: plan school/week; work on RPG with younger, on mine a bit. Today's goals: House: chores, bed, bath School: usual, tea party and art this afternoon. Cooking: roast chicken, broccoli, peaches and cream for dessert Writing: 3000 words, send back on Beta report, continue Beta reading the other, personal reading Art: paint project, sketching Exercise: walk 3 miles Extra: take phone in to be fixed. To do: get to bed. 🙂 Today saw: languages, math, reading, some memory work; music with younger, lunch read-aloud, RPG prep + online play. Basic outdoor chores, minimal indoor chores. Tomorrow: similar school, but would like to add writing/English work, fine arts, or get a necessary errand run. (And all the chores and work that comes with that--the garden clean up alone is going to be epic) Today's goals: House: chores School: short day Cooking: leftovers--we need to clear some space in there before I take leftovers and turn them into something else. Writing: 3000 words, Beta reading, work on a few chapters for my CP Art: sketching and painting this evening Exercise: walk 3 miles Extra: some plant watering, prep for next week's cooler weather and clean up, plan a Thanksgiving menu, pick any extra tomatoes. Today: we got flu shots this AM and I'm feeling it. Will cycle between house stuff, schoolwork, fitness, outdoor work, reading.
