busymama7 Posted September 19, 2020 Posted September 19, 2020 After using teaching textbooks for 2 years and realizing too late that it wasn't really working (I still don't understand why as they got good scores daily and weren't cheating or anything) we are back with CLE. I placed my 12 year old in 7 even though it is a bit of a stretch. We are almost done with 701 after going slowly to teach or review parts he was shaky on. He's done well but could use a boost on percents. I am considering the Key to series and maybe use it along side CLE 7 as we move on but we've spent a lot on curriculum this year and don't really want to buy more. Is there something similar that's printable? (I would even pay for a pdf). I don't want to search for individual worksheets nor use something like Khan. Thanks for any ideas. Quote

Zoo Keeper Posted September 19, 2020 Posted September 19, 2020 And here's a quick (free!) little pdf https://www.mcckc.edu/tutoring/docs/br/math/basic/Percents.pdf and another freebie... https://www.cnm.edu/depts/tutoring/tlc/res/accuplacer/10_Math_550_Percents_Packet.pdf or yet another... http://www.wampatuck6thgrade.weebly.com/uploads/3/2/0/2/3202371/workbook_key_topic_14.pdf or if you need a one page reminder for a math notebook... https://www.palmbeachstate.edu/prepmathlw/Documents/conversions-fractionsdecimalspercents.pdf Quote
Sarah0000 Posted September 19, 2020 Posted September 19, 2020 I use MM Blue worktexts for any area that I want my kids to do extra targeted practice. I scroll through and print probably about half, but making sure to get through the end, and that's always been plenty. Quote
