triadofchaos
besides the suggested WTM outline, has anyone found a good option for secular curriculum for earth & space science? i did not find anything i could be totally happy with for biology and ended up writing my own. i just wanted to take a quick inventory of the options to see if i'll need to devote some time this spring and summer to DIY style science curriculum again. oh and i need something for an accelerated learner who is pretty fond of science, so it needs to have some meat to it. Karen in CO
I did my own Earth science in a co-op with my dd and her friends, but found that the Earth Science by Dianah Zike would have been a great program to work through if it had just been my own kids. Using that and supplementing with library books on topics of interest would have been perfect. Another option I liked was the earths science program from Pandia Press. kRenee
You didn't say what age...but how about Prentice Hall science explorer or Oak Meadow. And doesn't Pandia Press have an elementary earth/space curriculum?
