ktgrok Posted November 3, 2019 Share Posted November 3, 2019 I was VERY late to church after driving across town to pick up DD9 from a slumber party, but I went, which I'm glad about. Caught the end of the sermon for All Saints' Sunday and he was talking about how we are all made to be saints. Also the children's sermon was about how just like Jesus is the light of the world, so we can also bring light to the world, and to others. The congregation broke into This Little Light of Mine when he started singing it, and it was lovely. Oh, and he saw my son approaching the communion rail and actually had his gluten free wafer tucked in his other hand, ready to go - such a small thing but it means so much to me and my son.
