Juliegmom
We've decided to use Friendly Chemistry and I'd like to add in a handful of more advanced labs. Any suggestions?
cbollin
When I used Friendly Chemistry with youngest, we added in about 10 of the 15 labs in a book called Gourmet Lab : principles behind your favorite foods. available amazon or here https://www.nsta.org/store/product_detail.aspx?id=10.2505/PKEB290X We also tried to use the labs in this archived course on edX with food based chemistry. This one has more math and science words in it with the labs. You don't have to upload your stuff to the course if you don't want. and it's currently "archived" but you can still enoll in it as archived. https://www.edx.org/course/science-cooking-from-haute-cuisine-to-soft-matter-science-chemistry just one way to approach it.
