We were at the bookstore last night, and were super pleased to discover he has a just-released version of the Iliad! Yay! We are huge Greek Myth fans at this house but we have struggled to get into the Iliad. We have Black Ships Before Troy, and the Andrew Lang audiobook, and neither took off with Dd almost 6. I figured we would just have to wait until she was older, but she really wants more Greek Myths *now*. This is so exciting! Not a lot of blood and guts, but at least one spear straight through the head(!) So you’ve been warned. (Boys who love this are going to love this! We prefer the parts where the gods do goofy things.
