lulalu
I need something to make dinner time more enjoyable. A game or discussion topics to go through. I am usually tired and done for the day by dinner time and ds is always hyper. Anyone have anything they use a love?
lulalu
I should add ds is 6 almost 7. But we often play games marked for 8+ or 10+.
Farrar
Not a game, but we sure liked this book for conversation starters at one point. Six might be a bit young... but it's cute...https://www.amazon.com/Who-Wins-Historical-Head-Head/dp/0761185445/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1546639471&sr=8-1&keywords=who+wins+100+historical+figures+go+head+to+head

chocolate-chip chooky
We enjoy quiz/trivia books over dinner. Finding something that's suitable for younger children may be tricky though. We also enjoy a game called The 5 Second Rule. You have 5 seconds to name three things from a given category eg name 3 boys names starting with S. It's a good one, because it is super easy to play, provides a few laughs, the timer is pretty comical, and you can play quite easily while at the dinner table ie it doesn't take up much space and doesn't have lots of pieces. https://www.amazon.com/PlayMonster-Second-Rule-Game-NEW/dp/B07D5QHKJN
