I was working with my soon-to-be 3rd grader on time, and realized that he has trouble when it's getting close to the next hour. I was playing around in TPT and found this teacher's wonderful technique of teaching "rooms." I thought it might be useful to others who are either just starting to teach time or have kids that can still get a little confused. She has a free downloadable clock face available or you can get her whole packet.
