marbel Posted June 21, 2018 Share Posted June 21, 2018 Just curious. I had belonged to a club through my work 25+ years ago, on the advice of my boss to get better at speaking. Last fall I joined a local club to give some focus to my post-homeschooling, "what am I doing to do for the rest of my life?" days, maybe meet some people, and get my public speaking skills back up. It seems that the organization is not as well-known as it was 25 years ago. There are some things about it that seem archaic and odd. The name, for one! But it's been interesting.
