Night Elf
I bought several things including a jacket for my dd in a large size that she requested. It's a men's jacket and I'm worried it will be way too big. I know I can take it to the store for a refund but do I ask them then for an exchange for a smaller size or will I have to refund the first one and buy the second one separately? I got a fairly good discount on it and would hate to have to pay full price.
Prairie~Phlox
An even exchange would be your best bet, I hate returning things at Kohl's with coupons/discounts.
Night Elf
Yes, it would be an even exchange. One size for another. I will have at least one thing on the same ticket to refund. I bought two sizes of leggings for me not knowing which size would work. That means I'll be returning at least one.
Night Elf
This worried me so much that I just went back to Kohls online and ordered the other size. I'll have both sent to my house and let her try them both on and see which one she wants and return the other. These jackets aren't carried in the stores around me. I can only get them online.

I was about to suggest this ☺. Kohl's can be such a pain with the discounts/exchanges.
