Biting my tongue.

But I'm dying to be honest with a person in my life.

"The teacher isn't picking on your kid!! Your kid is a total butthead!! None of his teachers have picked on him!! Look around you--you're the only person in the room complaining about the teacher! You've complained about every teacher he has ever had! Guess what?!? It is because your sweet angel is a butthead!! You are a smart woman--how do you not see that your kid is the issue?!? Cause he totally is!!"

Instead I just smile and nod.

As someone that was this child's teacher or as a friend/acquaintance?

There might be a subtle or tactful way to suggest problems without labeling the child a name (not that I thought you would go up to her and call him that).

Although I don't know if that will end well

Yes..."That's so strange. The other moms always have such good things to say about Ms. Jones. Actually, most people say great things about Mr. Wilson, too. I'm surprised you have an issue with him, as well. I wonder if Johnny just clashes with those teachers in ways that other kids don't."
