frugalmamatx
Amazing that you sold the dryer. Wasn't it broken? Now I am thinking I should have sold the 3 appliances we got new this year. All still worked to different degrees. It still ran well but was starting to go a little bit. I disclosed the issues. There are some people that buy broken washers & dryers, depending on models. They use the parts to fix other units. Back in the summer I sold our broken washer & dryer for $20 each. Not much but more than I would have gotten putting them to the curb. This. The guy I sold the washer to buys them for $20 each, repairs and then sells for $120. I knew what was wrong with it {needed new seals} and it wasn't terribly expensive or hard to repair - IF you had the $40 wrench needed. But when I added in buying the wrench, it was too much for me.
