battlemaiden
I would like to try a new recipe. Would someone share their tired and true favorite? It must be able to be iced- I'm a stickler for icing. :D Pretty please? Thanks. Jo
nanette
Here is one for Pumpkin Chocolate Chip. I'm sure you could leave the chips out if you would like. MIX: 2 eggs 1 cup sugar 1 cup butter (soft) 1 cup solid pack pumpkin 2 tsp. vanilla ADD: 2 cups flour 3 tsp. pumpkin pie spice 2 tsp. baking powder dash of salt mix, then add chocolate chips and mix again Bake at 350 for 14 min. (maybe a little longer)
Erica in PA
I'll link to the one I posted recently. It's from Martha Stewart's cookie book, and I have to tell you, I have never, ever, tasted a more delicious cookie. The icing is called Brown Butter Icing, and it is to die for. http://www.welltrainedmind.com/forums/showthread.php?p=608059#poststop
PinkInTheBlue
Here's a link to a thread I've been hanging on to in another window. I'm hoping to try some of these out as well. There are many pumpkin recipes and some yummy sounding cookies. :) http://www.welltrainedmind.com/forums/showthread.php?t=63687&highlight=pumpkin+cookie
Ellie
It is SO good with molasses cookies. Or all by itself, for that matter! Pumpkin Dip: 15 oz can pumpkin 8 oz softened cream cheese 1 tsp cinnamon 1 tsp pumpkin spice 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar 1/2 cup brown sugar Mix and chill, serve with ginger snaps, pumpkin bread, muffins, apples, graham crackers
