Liza Q
If my son were to want to transfer to a better college after his first two years, would his SAT score matter by that point? Or would they consider his grades more? Edited July 12, 2017 by Liza Q
regentrude
Look at the rules for transfer admission of the college he is considering. I cannot imagine the SAT still matters at that point.
Matryoshka
Dd is transferring. She had almost 80 credits, which gives her junior standing, but she'd only graduated high school in 2016, so they still wanted her high school transcript and SAT scores. If she'd had the same credits but had graduated high school earlier, they wouldn't have even wanted them.
Liza Q
I looked over several schools. It seems to depend on how selective (Columbia) the school is and whether the student is transferring in as a sophomore or a junior. Thanks so much!
