s/o Volunteering in the Homeschool World. Has it changed?

Time - talent - treasure - these are all ways to give. The world would be a less rich place if all giving were confined to just one of these aspects.

 

Yeah...I do think that if everyone is doing SOMETHING resentment does not occur.

 

I enjoy the face time with the teens in my group. There's another mom who just swooped in and took over the reception, andd she's really good at that. Another mom always manages to find the random props or scenery needed. Still other moms just make sure that x, y, and z are handled. I don't expect moms to all give an equal amount, but in my documentation, I mention that "You will likely get emails about this this and this. I can't do it all, and I know everyone is busy. For this group to work, we all have to pitch in."

 

Thankfully, all the parents in my group do very well with it.

 

But, each fall when kids want to try out, I have this clenching of my gut wondering whether I will regret adding new members to the group.
