bluebonnetgirl
Looking for feedback on Exploration Education Physical Science for 9th grade (the Advanced Physical Science curriculum) http://www.explorationeducation.com/Avideo.html This is for my teen son who is on the autism spectrum and has mixed expressive receptive language disorder. He usually does best with multimedia presentation. Engaging as many senses as possible usually works best for him since the language channel is impaired. He does well with computer based and workbook type curricula. He has done well with Teaching Textbooks and Derek Owens prealgebra for example. I am debating between Exploration Eduation, Derek Owens Physical Science, and AGS Physical Science (a hi-lo curricula). I am not looking for rigor, but a gentler program, more visually rich, less language based. Thank you for any and all insights! swellmomma
No review for you but planning to use this with my rising 8th grader next year. He does better with hands on due to his LDs and this looks right up his avenue.
Kassia
We used it for a short time and ended up returning it. My dd hated it because there was so much time spent on the projects and not a lot of academic content. But that might be more of what you're looking for in your situation.
