Yep, the lack of an oxford comma just cost businesses $13 million dollars. 

 

I like their parents example there, I'm going to use that.

 

I remember explicitly being taught not to use an oxford comma in school, clearly. However as an adult I always use one now.

My little Oxford comma geek heart rejoices.  I am also cheering for the truckers, because DH and my dad drive trucks, and other family members have as well from time to time, and it is a profession that is not respected for intelligence or good grammar, but yay, the truckers had intelligence and good grammar enough to pick up on this ambiguity. :hurray:
