Stay with CLE or go to Singapore or MM

Because of some health conditions I have, my rising 2nd grader will be attending a classical school this fall. They use Singapore Primary Mathematics Standard Edition.

 

My child is about to complete CLE 1st grade math. She is doing great in it. I am trying to decide where to go with math the next few months for her:

 

1. SM 1B for review and to help get her familiar with it. Or start the 2nd grade SM if she tests into it?

2. CLE 2 Math 

3. Mammoth Math- I own all of it

If you already have MM, I'd use that for the rest of this school year.

You already own MM and it is closer to Singapore in presentation than CLE. I agree start MM. If it ends up being a poor fit then reassess at that point whether to switch to Singapore or not. I love CLE but if she is starting Singapore in the fall I'd move to MM or Singapore now.

Should I do a placement test or just put her right into the 2nd grade MM?

I think it's always good to do a placement test. I'd try MM if you already have it. We tried to switch from CLE --> MM this year and it ended up being a poor fit for my boys. They're back with CLE now. Every kid is different!

Agreed, give the placement test.  It can be a very useful diagnostic tool.
