Kassia
My dd is using Oak Meadow biology. Science is her least favorite subject and she's been muddling through the year without complaining, but she really hates the new unit she's on. She's learning about invertebrates this week, followed by arthropods and then vertebrates. I'd like to find something else for her until we move into the next unit (which she's actually excited about). She never complains about schoolwork and is a great student, so I would really like to help her out since this is the first time she's ever complained. Do you have any recommendations on what I can do/use to cover this material, but not so in-depth? I'd like her to just get a general overview so she can learn and retain it. Right now she said she reads and doesn't remember what she just read.
EKS
I would just have her skip it. Modern biology is not focused on animal anatomy.
