Peaceful Isle
Has anyone used this? https://elementalscience.com/collections/adventures-in-america What are your thoughts? I would love to use this for my son in first grade before I go into the four year history cycle. It seems so perfect. ondreeuh
We used it and loved it in first grade. I supplemented with lots of the Who Was series of books plus a great book on the Underground Railroad. We didn't do the state study, though, or much of the copywork, narration, or crafts. The "text" alone is worth the very reasonable cost. I liked that I could print out pages and file them by week, keeping us on a schedule. I slipped the supplemental books in the files with the weekly reading.
RKWAcademy
We loved it. Very simple for that age. We stopped doing the states part but loved the history.
Insertcreativenamehere
I'm using it for my first grader. I wish it covered more of American history (it's mostly early American) but I like what they have!
CAtoVA
We used it briefly but found it VERY light. My children needed more even at 1st grade. Maybe it's a good spine but I would add to it. Like others we did not use the state part.
