kfeusse
I like the look of camis under sweaters and shirts...but sometimes I want the warmth of long sleeves. Does a type of shirt exist that gives you the look of a cami, and yet have long sleeves? If so, can you link me a couple so I can see what they look like and where I can get them? thanks. ILiveInFlipFlops
So you're looking for something lightweight and snug-fitting, but with long sleeves? If so, you might try Googling "long sleeved layering tees" or "lightweight long sleeved tees." The first search brought me to these--is this what you have in mind? I hope the links work. J Crew JC Penney Or is there some other aspect of camis that you're looking for instead? ETA: Or these, for the fabric style of camis instead (and I looove 3/4 sleeves): Modli That last place has a lot of options. They came up when I Googled "long sleeved camis." kfeusse
it's also the neckline....I don't like loose fitting lower neckline shirts...but I like the lower neckline of a cami. I don't have much in front...so I am not trying to show off anything....but I don't like the look of regular t-shirt type neckline under things either. Does that make sense? Or are you liking the straight across neckline? kfeusse
yes, but now not $30 each. The last 2 more so than the first...the first seems to be to loose at the neckline...I think.
ILiveInFlipFlops
Yeah, that seemed to be the general price on everything I looked at--actually, most of the ones I pulled up were higher, like $40+. It seems to be a sweet spot in women's tops. I did find a few others, but they were mostly at pricier retailers or specialty retailers. Sorry! I hope you end up finding what you need. MamaBearTeacher
A bodysuit with a low neckline might work for you.
DesertBlossom
Downeast basics has long sleeve layering tees. I have never tried them but I like their short sleeve ones. https://www.downeastbasics.com/collections/layering-essentials
Sun
I have a bunch of Uniqlo's heattech undershirts, and they may work for what you're looking for. They're very thin layerable shirts and are designed to be worn snug. Be warned that the crewnecks are actually quite wide and low, more of a high scoop neck than a true crew. The necks on the scoopnecks are slightly more refined.
