And, for the most part I'm sure there isn't. But, it only takes one precious child or person to be the victim of someone else's disturbing sheme. For the most part, people are good and honorable...so it certainly wouldn't be the norm to have a selfish, evil desire directed at an innnocent child. All those fears about "tainted candy" and "razor blades in apples" are pretty silly IMO. I still check my kid's candy when we get home, but more for open wrappers that could be unsanitary.
