BlsdMama
DS is getting a new comforter or quilt or whatever for Christmas. But here's the deal - I DESPISE comforters on bunk beds. They are a pain. A royal pain. What I love the looks of are the bunkbed covers with elastic around the end. Anyone know the specific name of this so I can look for a tutorial? Or have a tutorial? alisoncooks
Wow, you have changed my world. I didn't even know these were a thing...but now I need some! I hate (!!) comforters on the top bunk. Here's some tutorials I found: http://www.ourfamilyunit.com/diy/diy-tutorial-for-bunk-bed-caps-huggers-snugglers http://hugskissesandsnot.com/easy-bunk-bed-sheets/
chocolatechip
Aah, I never knew about these in my life. . .and the thought is making me twitchy! I can't stand tight sheets at the end of a bed that I can't loosen. I prefer duvets for bunk beds. No top sheet necessary!
Guest
Look up zip up bedding. Beddy's is one brand I think. I know a couple people with bunk beds that use them.
Zoo Keeper
I found this blog post helpful....I could visualize it better. http://wildflowersandmarbles.com/2011/07/28/simple-and-useful-boxed-corners-sewn-on-a-childs-quilt/ (I haven't actually *done* it yet, but I want to. I have to find the heavy duty needles for the machine...)

Thank you!!!
