Liz CA
Need some suggestions for a 8 yo and 3 yo. I am looking for games where we interact, speak not lap games. These are children who need some engagement in play activity. Car ride is only about 15 minutes one way. We have been playing "Find an animal for every letter of the alphabet" and counting by 5's or 2's or whatever. :) The little one is just excited when we get excited and claps along. What else can you think of?

HomeAgain
We find car colors. For the little one I make it easy (white, red, black, grey), the big kid has to look for orange, purple, blue, green..
Liz CA
Singing together, singing "rounds" or call and response songs, or alternating lines of a song. I fear people may jump out of the car once I start singing...but we can try. :) 20 questions, but limited to animals or foods or person Going to Granmas and going to take a ______ (alphabetical order, 1st person A, then B and each remembers the previous items) This should work really good and the little one can chime in We find car colors. For the little one I make it easy (white, red, black, grey), the big kid has to look for orange, purple, blue, green.. This will be especially fun for the young one who is just now learning colors. THANK YOU! Edited November 10, 2016 by Liz CA
