Middle school bio with marine bio component

I have a middle schooler with an interest in marine biology.  With my older son, we did middle school science very unstructured, child-led.  However, with this child, I think he would like something that was more structured, and it would make things easier for me.  Can anyone advise me?

I just remembered that we have access to the Super Charged Science materials, from a subscription that I bought and haven't used yet.  So, maybe there is something in there.  I'd still like to hear other ideas.  Thanks!

Also, check with your state wildlife and fisheries agency-they usually have great stuff.

We have this book:

Here is my resource list for Aquatic biology. This is more high school level, for a student who has already had a strong general biology background but may be helpful.
