redsquirrel
Interesting. In the spring of 2017 he is also going to have a science focused talk show on Netflix. It said think 'mythbusters without the explosions'? Each show will focus on a specific topic and then explore the science. It mentioned vaccinations and climate change etc. http://www.indiewire.com/2016/08/netflix-bill-nye-saves-the-world-2017-1201721795/ Ooh, I see Phil Plait is going to head science writer... I like him.

Wishes
Totally non-science related...I like that two of the three main characters are going to be foster kids. There's not a lot of children's books that feature foster kids; especially as smart and capable. Well, I'm assuming the capable part. Apparently they are geniuses. daijobu
Too bad my kids are too old to benefit. We used the Bill Nye videos in conjunction with BFSU, but always after we had learned the concepts thoroughly. His shows move very fast. lisabees
Thanks for the good news! I, too, like Phil Plait! And great point about the characters being strong foster children. Dd13 loves Bill Nye and really enjoyed his audiobooks, Undeniable and Unstoppable - very accessible for middle school students.
