How to count dual enrollment courses on transcript

My daughter is a rising freshman and took two DE Spanish classes over the summer (8 credits )and is taking another one in the fall (3 credits) and another in the spring (3 credits).  

 

My plan for the year is:

 

1 unit English (American Lit)

 

1 unit Social Studies (World History)

 

1 unit Science (Biology w/lab)

 

1 unit Math (Algebra 2)

 

1/2 - 1 unit P.E. (gymnastics)

 

4 units foreign language (four courses at CC for 14 college credits)

 

 

 

Can I count her Spanish classes as four high school units of foreign language if they are taken in one year?  I didn't know if that would look wrong on her transcript.

You could organize her transcript by subject, then you wouldn't have to worry about having everything in the same year.

It won't look strange to have multiple credits in one year, particularly since two were in the summer.
