workingmom
Do parents write the counselor LOR for homeschoolers? DS will be a junior next year and trying to wrap my mind around what's taken seriously. He is part time enrolled in the public high school for two classes so I guess they could write it, but it would be so generic bc he really only sees her for forms and requesting classes yearly. But would a mommy LOR count? especially for a higher tier school? Any suggestions on how to get started. I actually write LOR for residents and medical school applicants in my day job, so I know I could write a good LOR, but I'm thinking its such a spectacular journey this homeschooling thing for the past several years, in terms of the opportunities, adventures and ability to delve into nooks and crannies. Would that come through from a parent or would they think it was sappy?
