Butter Posted June 11, 2016 Share Posted June 11, 2016 We give our instructor a Christmas present and birthday present every year. He's not just an instructor, though. My daughter works for the school as an assistant instructor and my oldest son helps in class a whole lot, too. We give him a gift card to iTunes because he buys music to use in class so that's the perfect gift for him. He gets a lot of chocolate as gifts... but we happen to know he doesn't really like chocolate. My daughter and son get a lot of chocolate at Christmas. We did not give anything special when the kids got their black belts and I'm not planning to when more of us (including me... yelp) test for first degrees in December.
