My daughter types about 20 wpm and would like to be faster because the other students frequently beat her to answer the teacher's questions. (She's just a little competitive.) An English composition course it would matter more. How is the student's typing in general? Are they quick but just not using the typically taught technique? Or hunt and peck? Arcadia Posted May 12, 2016 Share Posted May 12, 2016 My DS11 does mainly four finger typing because he doesn't like typing lessons. He types fast enough for online classes. He doesn't need to look at the keyboard while typing most of the time. For his English composition homework, he thinks slower than he type anyway.
