TeenagerMom
Help me think this through.... Sweet 16 Party. Expecting probably 40ish people up to 60. The bulk of those are teenagers. Party is 2 1/2 hours. We are serving dinner which will be a taco bar. There will be a Dessert/Candy Buffet with 7 kinds of candy, Dipped Rice Krispy Pops, Birthday Cake/Cupcakes, and Dipped Pretzel Rods And the Snack table is where I am stumped........ We have a popcorn maker. I have 4 taxi cab decorations for dry snacks to go in..... Should I just do different kinds of chips, veggies, and dips? If so, what? heartlikealion
That sounds fine for snacks. If you want something heavier you could try something like Slim Jims, deviled eggs, pigs in a blanket? You know, protein. My personal favorite chips may not be the popular ones! (Baked Lays, lightly salted Sun Chips, Fritos). Ask the birthday girl if she has a preference. Some are messier than others and you may or may not want the cheese fuzz haha. Veggie tray - I'm a fan of carrots and broccoli and/or cauliflower with Ranch dressing though these days I don't usually eat Ranch.
Rebel Yell
Definitely veggie tray. Broccoli and carrots always seem to go first. Ranch dip.
umsami
What about Velveeta/Rotel dip and tortillas? That's usually popular and kind of goes with the Taco bar theme. :)
