I'd want to use the ssl as something additional to PL to make it more fun for my kids, not necessarily to reinforce what they are learning in PL. 2_girls_mommy Posted April 18, 2016 Share Posted April 18, 2016 I believe that Song School Latin uses a classical pronunciation. PL uses ecclesiatical. It won't matter. You can use the classical instead of the ecclesiastical, but the lessons on pronunciation will have to be changed by you, and if you use the PL CDs for practice the pronunciation won't match. The CD has the songs sung in one version, then the last half of the CD is the same songs but sung in the other version. It also tells you the difference, though not the pro's and con's of each.
