HollyDay
I am testing for the first time this year my 7th and 4th graders. The tester (who is a friend of mine), called this morning and suggested I go ahead and get the test prep material so I can look it over, incorporate it into our program and make adaptations if necessary. Okay. What do I get? She gets her materials from BJUP so she suggested I go to their website. They have Test for Success and Better Test Scores. They do not seem to have sample tests (?). I looked at Piedmont Resources and they have ITBS basic test prep, ITBS form M prep (both of which are sample tests), and Scoring High. They recommend the Form M (the old ITBS test) and Scoring HIgh. These materials seem very different. What do I need to best prepare dc?
Chris in VA
We didn't really use anything, but my son's Montessori school used to use Scoring High, if that's any help.
Country Girl
Great question.... I was just trying to decide this very thing last night. I went with Scoring High but not really sure why. It just seemed to be the most commonly mentioned. I'm watching to see if there is something better that I should get.
