AimeeM
Foot in mouth. She is doing it and loving it. My only regret is wasting part of a year using CLE Algebra - now she's just starting Intro to Algebra in 9th grade, when she's definitely a STEM gal. She loves AOPS. I mean, she really, really likes it - even if it stretches her. If I'm honest, I don't know that she could have used it last year - I think that it would have been too wordy and reading-heavy for her last year. Regardless of the "should have started sooner" regret, I'm happy I finally listened to the Hive and gave it a shot!
lisabees
Dd is working through pre-algebra. Sometimes I think it is too much for her, especially as complete discovery. When she is given supplemental worksheets etc, she looks at me like, "Really? That is sooo easy and sooo not fun!" Funny how these kids will surprise us. Glad to hear AoPS is a success in your house! Enjoy!
