Someone explain to me what this signifies. Are all our gifts supposed to be one of those? Is it just the gifts the couple gives to each other, or by others? We have never paid attention to this list, but I find it interesting. Apparently the 47th anniversary gift is books. Now that sounds like a fun anniversary. I never consult them btw except for biggies like 25th, 50th etc. They remind me of jewelry birthstones...If you don't like rubies, but love sapphires, buy the one you love.
