Pajama Mama
I read this article and actually cried. It's about a dad and son who were lost at sea overnight. The son is autistic which is close to my heart, I guess. I can actually see it in my mind. The two of them in the dark water and dad yelling "To infinity and beyond" to reassure him. I am such a marshmallow:crying: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/26639098?GT1=43001
Jennifer3141
That is a great news story! Thank you. Jen
6packofun
I saw this on the news and they said nothing about the son being autistic or how the dad kept reassuring him like that!! We were actually laughing because in the video clip they showed the dad saying "God bless the Coast Guard" and he was so happy...when they asked him how he stayed alive, he just said, "I just floated!!" ROTFL!!! But now I just got teary-eyed hearing the rest! Thanks for sharing that.

LNC
Crying! The boy had to tread water for 14 hours! The perseverance our children on the spectrum have can be such a good thing!
